Using Aelith Pay
Aelith Pay provides software for merchant payment flows, crypto checkout, payment tracking, Shopify integration, cNFT receipts, and refund workflows. Merchants are responsible for the products and services they sell, their customer relationships, and their compliance obligations.
Shopify integration
Merchants may connect a Shopify store to accept crypto payments through an Aelith-hosted checkout or through a Shopify payments app flow when available and approved by Shopify.
- Merchants must own or be authorized to manage the Shopify store they connect.
- Merchants must keep Shopify app permissions, redirect URLs, and payment settings accurate.
- Aelith Pay may use Shopify order, payment-session, refund, capture, void, and webhook data to provide the integration.
- Shopify may review, restrict, suspend, or remove payment app access under Shopify policies.
Crypto payments
Crypto transactions may be irreversible after they are confirmed on-chain. Merchants are responsible for setting correct prices, token support, settlement wallets, refund policies, tax treatment, and order fulfillment rules.
cNFT receipts
Aelith Pay may create collectible cNFT receipts for successful payments when the feature is enabled. Receipt metadata may include payment-related details needed to identify the receipt, but merchants should avoid placing sensitive customer data in public metadata.
Refunds and disputes
Merchants control refund decisions for their customers unless law, Shopify policy, or another binding obligation requires otherwise. Aelith Pay can help create and track refund requests, but merchants remain responsible for customer communication and fulfillment decisions.
Acceptable use
Merchants may not use Aelith Pay for unlawful products or services, sanctions evasion, fraud, abusive behavior, unauthorized access, or activity that creates unreasonable risk for Aelith Pay, Shopify, customers, or payment networks.

Availability and changes
Aelith Pay may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with legal requirements, meet Shopify platform requirements, or improve reliability. We aim to provide reasonable notice for material changes when practical.
